Kenny and Heather McVean run the Culdees Tearoom and Framing Service in a converted cottage in School Wynd. The tearoom is named after the former inhabitants of the nearby historic round tower. The building has been tastefully decorated to provide an attractive backdrop for the many paintings displayed in the tearoom and still boasts an open fire burning coal and logs. Very welcoming on a cold winter morning!

Kenny does all the cooking in the tearoom and all meals and snacks are prepared to order. Only the best of local ingredients are used.Click here for sample menus.

Heather, as well as serving in the tearoom, freshly bakes cakes, scones and pancakes every morning .

Heather also offers a full picture framing service and located in the tearoom is a large display of mouldings and mounts which are suitable for framing oils, watercolours, prints, tapestries, cross stitch, photographs and certificates.

The tearoom is located 50 yards from the local museum, and next to Abernethy's historic round tower, one of only two in Scotland.
